Core Strategy
West Devon Borough Council has submitted the Core Strategy and its associated documentation to the Secretary of State for independent examination.
The Submission Core Strategy is made up of the ‘Proposed Submission (Regulation 27) Core Strategy’ and the ‘Schedule of Focused Changes to the Core Strategy’. It was submitted Thursday 15th July 2010.

The Secretary of State has appointed Mr Paul Crysell BSc MSc MRTPI of the Planning Inspectorate to conduct an examination into the soundness of this document.
The Examination in Public (EiP) will commence on Tuesday 16th November 2010 and is expected to be completed by Thursday 25th November. A Pre-Hearing Meeting about how the EiP will be organised will be held at 10.30am on Thursday 16th September 2010. These will be held in the Council Chamber at the West Devon Borough Council Offices in Tavistock.
